No. The link works with both regular WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business. Business does give you a commercial profile, quick replies and a product catalogue, which suits stores better.
What is the correct number format? +
Country code followed by the number, with no leading zero, spaces or dashes. Example: Saudi number 0501234567 becomes 966501234567.
Is the pre-filled message sent automatically? +
No. It appears typed in the chat box and the customer still taps send. That is WhatsApp’s own behaviour and cannot be bypassed.
Is my data stored? +
